Position is used on explicit, versioned consent: during a hunt the player has joined, in the background only in or near the venue and only until the session ends, on the screens that need it, and, for opt-in nearby-hunt alerts, only while the app is open. Never for advertising profiling.

Every session runs under published game rules naming the organiser, the venue, every prize and coupon, and the rules of attribution.
